Abstract

Assessment of routine PCI short-term efficiency in Tyumen Cardiology Center (TCC) (n = 432) revealed the absence of pain syndrome in 90,2 %, improvement of left ventricular ejection fraction, reduction of the extent of left ventricular wall motion abnormalities and left atrial dimension. There was lower general (10,3 vs 1,2 %, р = 0,0001) and coronary mortality (9,3 vs 1,2 %, р = 0,0001) in patients after PCI compared to the group on pharmacological treatment (n = 194). The effi-cacy of PCI in patients with CAD shows that PCI should be used more frequently in the real clinical practice.
